Toners - step 2

Toners also known as astringents often play different roles for different skin types, and skin problems.

Oily skin types usually want to shrink their pores, While dry skin usually want soften and help add moisture.Those with hyperpigmentation want to even out skin tone.

A toner can help with a variety of problems, and you can make your very own personal astringent. Before you get to that, let's talk about some key ingredients.

Key Ingredients

Witch Hazel- Mother nature's very own, used a base for most astringents to help fight acne, and inflamed skin. If you have Oily/Normal/Combination skin, or acne prone should consider witch hazel.

Tip- A witch hazel with very low alcohol volume is also a good make up remover.

Tea Tree Oil/Water- another all natural astringent, Oily/Sensitive/aging types rave about this one, because it your calms skin lifts away dirt and oil, and contains no alcohol.

Rose Mary Water- Used to rejuvanate aging skin, usually in combination with tea tree oil/water, and a vitamin.

Glycerin- a skin softener used by dry, combination, and sensitive.

Vitamin C- aging skin and hyperpigmented, use this to help balance the skin texture and tone quality.

Vitamin E- skin balencer, all skin types love this ingredient.

These are all simple ingredients that can be found in your local drug or health food store.
