Skin Type

Finding your skin type is essential for developing good skin care habits.

Trust me, you'll want to know what products are more likely to irritate or dry out your skin, before you spend $50 at the department store counter.

Skin Care has more to do with being knowledgeable about your skin, and less to do with buying expensive products that won't do much.

Learning about your type of skin is one of the first steps, achieving Healthy and Beautiful Skin.

How to: Simply rinse your face with water, and allow your face to dry, then take a piece of blotting paper and dab in your T-zone area (forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin) The results along with a mirror will help you discover what kind of skin you have.

Quick Story

When I first stared modeling, I knew nothing about skin. I just new I was suppose to wipe the make up off my face at night, which I hope you all are doing too.

So I go to the store and buy a well known brand cleanser for without really noticing the label was 'Dry Skin'.

I thought well at least my skin won't be dried out afterwards....wrong! Instead I ended up having to wash my face several times more to actually get rid of old gross dirt.

My make up artist at a photo shoot had told me it was still on my skin......and of course she recommended one more suitable for me. So don't be Silly, find your skin type before you invest!
