Rosacea

What is Rosacea?

It is a complex skin disease where the skin on the cheeks, foreheads, nose and chin become swollen and red, It has also been known to effect other areas such as the back ears, scalp and neck are sometimes effected as well.

Symptoms include constant "flushing" or "blushing", lots of redness and bumpiness. No cause has been found and cures remain mystery.

The condition has been known to disguise itself, as "adult acne" and "sunburn", because it's victims are tend to be between to ages of 30-50, of lighter skin complexions, but can still effect anyone.

Although more women are effected by it, men will usually have more severe causes. Most women began to notice symptoms around menopause.

There is no cure for Rosacea, but there are so topical and treatments many patients use to control it. Although tricky it can be manage, and should be treated as sensitve skin.
